Castrol MAGNATEC Diesel 15W-40 is a semi-synthetic diesel engine oil formulated with intelligent molecules which cling to the engine like a magnet and provide an extra layer of protection. Castrol MAGNATEC’s unique formulation means even once oil has drained away from critical components, these intelligent molecules will remain, protecting from the moment you turn the key and significantly reducing wear in cold-start conditions. Up to 75% of total engine wear is experienced before the engine reaches optimal temperature, MAGNATEC specifically reduces this to provide extended engine life and performance.
Castrol MAGNATEC Diesel 15W-40 is suitable for use in naturally aspirated, turbocharged and inter-cooled turbocharged diesel engines where the manufacturer recommends an API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 or earlier specification 15W-40 lubricant.
