DynaGrip Metallic Seal-Tite Radiator Stop Leak is a powerful and versatile sealing solution that is made to save you money on expensive mechanical repairs. The clever liquid glass (sodium silicate) formulation has been enhanced with copper to help create a ceramic-metallic weld over problem areas in your cooling system, with strength comparable to a mechanical weld.
Seal-Tite naturally gravitates towards the low-pressure patches generated by cracks and holes, and flows through to form a permanent bond capable of withstanding pressure of up to 3000PSI and heat up to 538°C (1000°F) with ease. Thanks to the transmitting properties of the copper in this coolant stop leak, any heat built up in the area is able to be distributed across the sealed surface to avoid any problematic hot spots.
Seal-Tite is not just a radiator leak sealant - it can also repair damaged head gaskets, cracks in engine blocks as well as water pumps and much more. It is suitable for petrol and diesel engines, and is compatible with all metals as well as most plastics commonly used in radiators - a super versatile and cost effective solution.
Please Note: It is recommended to clean your cooling system with a quality radiator flush, drain and refill with water prior to use of SEALTITE to ensure the best possible repair can be achieved.
Once the repair has been completed, you must drain your system before refilling with new Anti-Freeze/Anti-Boil (Glycol) coolants. SEALTITE is not compatible with and should not be left in the system with glycol coolants.
If you are only refilling with a corrosion inhibitor, you can leave SEALTITE in the system as it will not cause damage.
