König Zip 9 features a ground-up fitting system: thanks to the flexible cable sliding on the ground behind the wheel, all the chain parts get connected without moving the vehicle. Once the snow chain is mounted on the wheel, after some low speed driving, the Zip 9 requires the user to stop to re-tighten the chain properly.

- Additional links in the front part of the chain allow to adjust the chain dimension on different tyre sizes.
