The Penrite Classic range includes a variety of products specifically designed for classic vehicles, offering excellent protection and performance with a tailored to suit additives package formulated without the use of some modern additives that can be known to harm older vintage and classic vehicles.
Penrite Classic Transoil 250 is a premium mineral, non-EP, SAE 90 gear oil specially designed for use in older veteran, vintage and Edwardian gearboxes, transaxles and some spur and bevel type axles. Transoil 250 contains no aggressive extreme pressure (EP) additives that are known to sometimes cause corrosion to the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in vintage vehicles. Penrite Classic Transoil 250 Gear Oil is suitable for use where API GL-1, SAE 250 specification oil is required. This oil is compatible for use with both leather and synthetic rubber type seals, contact with water should be avoided or seal degradation can occur. Contains special load carrying additives that won’t damage or corrode components. Transoil 250 can be used in older style hypoid gears. Not suitable for use a steam cylinder oil
