Penrite ENVIRO+ GF-5 is a premium full synthetic, SAE 5W-30, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Fully Licensed and Warranty Approved engine oil. It is fully approved for warranty service for GM, Holden & HSV petrol engined vehicles. It uses the latest advances in mid SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur)* additive technology. Enviro+ GF-5 is GM dexos1™ GEN 2 licensed product for warranty service on all GM petrol engined vehicles. It is also licensed by the API (American Petroleum Institute) to meet SN Plus Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-5 specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction.

What does it suit?

For use in modern 4, 6 and 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged petrol low emission engines including petrol/electric hybrids. Use where SAE 5W-20 and SAE 5W-30 grade oils are recommended by the manufacturer. It can be used where ILSAC GF-3, GF-4 & GF-5 fuel economy oils are recommended and where API SN Plus, API SN or API SM specifications are required. As an API SN Plus Resource Conserving and General Motors dexos1™ GEN 2 licensed product, it provides a level of protection superior to other API SN / ILSAC GF-5 oils as well as improved turbocharger deposit control, oxidation and deposit control, aeration, fuel economy and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) over previous GM dexos1™ specification products. It is recommended for most General Motors petrol driven engined vehicles manufactured post August 2011 where GM specify a dexos1™ licensed product. This includes Barina, Commodore, Captiva, Cruze, Malibu, Volt, Statesman & Caprice vehicles. It is also suitable for use in all HSV series vehicles post this date. It can also be used in Chrysler /Jeep vehicles with Pentastar V6 engines that specify MS-6395 and in Ford BF-FG series 6 Cylinder and V8 petrol engined vehicles or where Ford M2C946-A is the required specification. It is also suitable for use by other manufacturers such as – Chrysler, Ford, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, SAAB, Subaru, Toyota and others. For use in passenger cars, 4WD’s & light commercial vehicles. It can be used with Petrol, LPG (Dual Fuel & LPi Liquid Phase Injection), E10 and is designed for use with flexi-fuel vehicles that can run on both unleaded petrol and E85 ethanol blend fuels. It is the primary choice of lubrication for late model vehicles that are running ethanol blends of fuels. It is also suitable for late model vehicles with dedicated LPG systems including those with direct injection LPI. It is also suitable for use in Hybrid petrol/electric vehicles requiring this viscosity grade and specification. It is not recommended for use in diesel engines or in motorcycles with wet clutches.
