Built around a unique blend of stainless steel and fibreglass, Metal Tech from Septone is designed to provide solid repairs to everything from metal to fibreglass, wood, plaster and even masonite. Formulated to bridge holes of up to 50mm in size, this powerful patching filler from Septone is a great option for any rust repair. Simply prepare the panel for filling, then place a patch of fibreglass mat behind the repair area. Once the hole is properly backed with fibreglass matting, light layers of Metal Tech can be built up to create a stress, shrinkage and water resistant patch repair. It can be moulded to any shape or contour, and it is easy to cheese grate, file or sand to roughly the finished shape.For the final finish, Septone recommends the use of a body filler such as Septone Car Filler to ensure a smooth finish.
