Head studs, main studs, manifold studs, or any other stud can be problematic when it's time to remove them. Because this can be difficult, ToolPRO offers this tool designed to remove or install threaded studs from sizes 6mm (1/4") to 19mm (3/4"). All that's required is a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar. Simply slip the tool over the stud utilising the smallest hole that suits, pop in your 1/2" ratchet and apply anticlockwise pressure; the more pressure that is applied the harder the tool will grip the stud. This tool is designed to mitigate damage to the thread of the stud and is therefore suitable for installation of studs too.
